Hooray, the 'Poulsen' lamp is also available as a floor lamp!
Already in the years 1925/26 Poul Henningsen designed the 3-part lampshade, and the first models, which were created with the help of Louis Poulsen, were shown at a Paris exhibition. This collaboration lasted until P. Henningsen's death in 1967. Throughout his life, Poul Henningsen was concerned with creating lamps with glare-free light that cast soft shadows as well as directing the cone of light to the right place.
The model PH 80 belongs to the series of 30 models with 3-piece shade. Poul Henningsen was not only concerned with the conception of a lamp, but of a whole system, which over the years gave rise to about a thousand models.
Floor lamp PH 80 emits diffused and symmetrical light. The primary part of the light is directed downwards, and the opalized acrylic shades create a pleasant ambient light.
Now the 'PH 80' is available in three different color versions.
