Wooden chair 811 with Jonc weave

The design of this chair dates back as early as 1930 and was created by Josef Hoffmann. He combined his interest in Art Nouveau and simple shapes to create this design.

The chair has geometric features, but at the same time has clear signs of hand bending, which is a great feature of the Czech manufactory Ton. The woven backrest loosens things up a bit and gives the chair a special lightness.
