Hans J. Wegner created the CH53 Footstool in 1966, which clearly demonstrates his passion for first-class craftsmanship and everyday functionality. With a solid wood frame and a seat made of hand-woven paper cord, the stool's simple and elegant shape makes it an ideal complement to the CH44 Lounge Chair, but it also cuts an excellent figure on its own - whether in the hallway, bedroom or kitchen. The CH53 footstool is available in two heights, and the low version complements the CH44.
