Laur Meyrieux is a new designer at the traditional French label Toulemonde Bochart. Her sensibility and style are imbued with her years of experience in Japan.
The creation of the rug Theo is inspired by the simplicity of Japanese Zen gardens and seeks to reproduce nature and sublimate it. The shapes of the rug are organic, with color harmonies reminiscent of these gardens: sand, water and the green of bamboo.
The carpet comes from the traditional company Toulemonde Bochart, near Paris, which has grown from a small, fine family business to a well-known and extremely innovative carpet specialist. This, among other things, because it has always believed in the carpet as a central accessory of stylish home furnishings. And it has always kept its finger on the pulse of time and demand, working with both established and renowned designers as well as courageous young designers.
