Teak Bench Surprising by Fermob

The “Surprising” bench, made of teak and steel, is an essential piece of furniture for every room in the house … and even beyond. Designed by guggenbichlerdesign, it combines a steel wire frame with a seat made of warm teak to create a piece of furniture that is at once graphic, durable, and versatile.

A compact yet spacious bench
Thanks to its carefully considered dimensions, it comfortably seats two people while still blending unobtrusively into small spaces. The integrated lower storage compartment provides space for shoes, towels, books, or everyday items, helping to keep your entryway tidy, your bathroom organized, or your bedroom serene.

True versatility for indoors and outdoors
Thanks to the combination of metal and wood, as well as Fermob’s expertise, the “Surprising” bench can be used both indoors and outdoors:
- in the entryway, dressing room, bathroom, bedroom, or playroom
- on the patio, balcony, in the spa area, or by the pool at a vacation home

A minimalist design, true to the Surprising DNA
Airy lines, a wire structure, and a balance between finesse and solidity: the entire Surprising aesthetic is on full display here. The wire construction outlines the bench’s silhouette in a single fluid gesture, lending it visual lightness and contemporary elegance.
