Wonderfully industrial is the wall lamp Nyhavn, which today adorns my online store brand new.
The wall lamp was created in 1976 by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær. The design took 1st place in a competition announced by 'Louis Poulsen' for lights for old neighborhoods worth preserving. As Alfred Homann had already worked on drawings and models beforehand, they were able to prepare and send in the documents within five days. Incidentally, the lights had to be small and more inconspicuous than was usual at the time.
'Nyhavn' features a cone-shaped shade and three anti-glare rings that give off soft, upward light.
It's a pretty cool look that I appreciate, especially in my kitchen.
