A little bit I had to think of an oversized toy figurine, when I saw the small table lamp for the first time. But its name, a contraction of the term 'blomst' - the Norwegian word for 'flower', - refers to the shape of the lamp, which is provided with petals resembling wings and thus reminiscent of a flower.
The amount of light is adjustable thanks to the two petals that delicately frame the diffuser and can be rotated on the base. They allow shielding the luminous flux, personalizing it according to needs: with petals arranged one above the other, you have the greatest light emission.
With his design, Andreas Engesvik has succeeded in creating a light and cheerful light emitter that can be intuitively handled, moved and adapted to the needs of the user. With its small dimensions - 'Blom' is 24 cm high and has a diameter of 15 cm - the lamp is a dainty little gem in your home, which is especially beautiful to look at as a small sea of flowers with its fellow species.
Blom' is in four bright colors from today in my store.
