NJP wall light from Louis Poulsen

The NJP series was designed by Oki Sato, founder of the nendo design studio. He wanted to create a new interpretation of the classic Anglepoise luminaire. The new, contemporary design was intended to revive all the characteristic features of the luminaire and add new functions for modern working life in the office or at home. The flexibly adjustable head and movable arm of the NJP wall light offer optimal customization options not usually found in conventional wall lights. This makes it ideal for the bedroom - adjustable beds are becoming increasingly popular and with less flexible wall lights it is difficult to find the ideal lighting. It is equipped with an LED light source that is recessed far enough into the head to avoid unpleasantly dazzling light. A sophisticated and practical detail is the lamp head, which is shaped like a chimney. This reflects part of the light and emits it backwards so that the upper part of the arm is illuminated. At the same time, the heat generated by the light source is better dissipated.
