Measure wall light from Ingo Maurer

When the tape measure becomes a lamp: "Measure Light" is a wall light that combines the functionality of a tape measure with the illumination of a strip light. The luminaire consists of the elastic sheet metal of a tape measure. On the back of the concave surface is a strip of light that extends over the entire length. Fixed to the wall with a transparent bracket, this luminaire emits a bright, graphic band of light that spreads an enchanting glow and lends depth to the surrounding space. The unique functionality of the wall light allows the user to gently move the strip up and down, transforming the light from a bright, narrow strip to an indirect, open light source. This simple movement allows the customer to switch between two different lighting moods.
