My New Flame table lamp from Ingo Maurer

My New Flame is the modern candle from Ingo Maurer. The mobile table lamp, which is rechargeable via USB, provides a cozy light like a candlelight dinner: My New Flame uses modern LEDs to create a nostalgic lighting effect that simulates naturally flickering candlelight. Based on video material, two times 128 LEDs reproduce the gentle flickering of a flame in a realistic and fascinating way. The LEDs form a rectangle on both sides of the slim circuit board so that the flame image is visible on both sides of the lamp. The light can be switched on and off and dimmed using a switch in the base.

My New Flame is the elegant version of a candle: it never starts to smoke, does not soot, burns as long as possible, is unscented and is not disturbed by air movement - perfect for dining indoors (rain) and outdoors (wind). The portable LED lamp My New Flame provides the perfect ambience for a digital or analog glass of wine.

The electronic components have been arranged for design reasons. My New Flame can be powered by four AA/Mignon NiMH rechargeable batteries with a maximum of 1.2 volts each or via the USB cable supplied. (The rechargeable batteries are not included in the scope of delivery).
