Particularly handsome in this model of the label Le Klint is the artfully folded lampshade, which is made by vifen artisans in Denmark.
The lighting manufacturer Le Klint has been an outstanding ambassador for Danish design and craftsmanship since the 1940s and is known not least for its unique collection of handmade lampshades, which are designed according to Japanese origami principles. Incidentally, 'Le Klint' is also a purveyor to the court of the Danish royal family and has been manufacturing all its lamps with great care in Denmark since 1943.
The designer trio Harrit-Sørensen + Samson was clearly inspired by the snowdrop for this design and has created a fantastic lamp from it, which is a shining example of the happy combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.
