Domo table lamp from Karakter

Joe Colombo was ahead of his time. Not a little - but way ahead. The Italian designer dreamed of furniture as machines for life. Flexible, functional, designed for everyone. And he was not afraid of new materials or technologies if they served his purpose.
In 1965, he designed three lamps based on the same basic shape. One of them: the Domo - now as a table lamp that gives your desk, bedside table or sideboard exactly what it is missing.
Colombo loved curved shapes. Sharp edges and straight lines? Not his thing. He preferred soft curves and organic silhouettes - shapes that feel natural and yet somehow appear futuristic. The Domo bears this signature unmistakably.
