Plexi pendant light from Karakter

Some designs are so far ahead of their time that the world has to catch up first. The Plexi lamp is one of these. Angelo Mangiarotti designed it in 1962 - at the time it was only produced in small numbers. Today it gets the stage it deserves.
And what a stage it can be.
A single Plexi cylinder is already a statement. But together? Grouped together to form a chandelier, hanging in a high foyer, a restaurant, a hotel lobby or an impressive living room - then the Plexi reveals all its magic. Large, impressive, unmistakable.
The Plexiglas guides the light from one end to the other - it not only illuminates, it guides light. Gently radiating along the entire cylinder, and on the sandblasted underside it passes the light directly downwards, casting a soft, broad glow on everything below.
Whether individually or as a spectacular ensemble - the Plexi transforms any room. Simply by hanging it.
