Pendant Light MT221 Tulip by Carl Hansen & Son

The MT221 Tulip pendant lamp was designed in 2022 by Marianne Tuxen for the restoration of the Pompeii Hall at the Carlsberg Academy in Copenhagen. The lamp combines classic elegance with modern aesthetics and showcases a high level of craftsmanship. The light provides glare-free ambient lighting, and the shade is made of three layers of hand-blown, white opal glass with a glossy finish, reminiscent of the shape of a tulip. A precisely crafted, solid brass suspension harmoniously blends with the shade to form a perfect, organic ensemble.
