LP Grand pendant light from Louis Poulsen

The first LP Grand from 2016 was created after Louis Poulsen approached Christian Flindt with the request to develop a scalable pendant luminaire with a small footprint for large rooms. At the same time, this large luminaire also had to meet Louis Poulsen's requirements and give the light a shape. Flindt then designed the elegant LP Grand. This combines direct and reflected light in its shade and between the beautifully curved, open rings. This ensures glare-free lighting of the highest quality and at the same time creates a warm and inviting ambience. Flindt himself compares the LP Grand to a sun shining through the mist on a foggy day, creating a soft light. In 2022, award-winning Danish designer Christian Flindt collaborated with Louis Poulsen to create the LP Grand 320 - the latest addition to the Grand pendant range. The number 320 in the name refers to the diameter of the luminaire (in mm). This makes it the smallest LP Grand to date. The new features of the LP Grand 320 include a warmer light temperature of 2700 K and a phase dimmer. This means that the latest pendant and wall light can be used not only in living spaces, but also in the hospitality industry, e.g. in hotel lobbies and reception areas, as well as in meeting rooms, offices and libraries.
