The G-10 lamp, designed in the 1950s by Greta M. Grossman, is another of her undiscovered designs.
The pendant lamp is characterised by its industrial look with a lampshade with a rough surface and clean lines, but at the same time it has a soft, feminine and elegant silhouette - which evokes some associations with a women's hat that adorned the streets in the 1950s.
Always with a pinch of humor, Grossman's design inspires playful and experimental installations in pairs or clusters. However, the pendant lamp also looks great as a single piece over a dining table.
The G-10 lamp, like many of Grossman's other works, was made both in America and in her Swedish homeland, where this collection takes its inspiration from the Swedish version. The lamp was Greta M. Grossman's tenth product for the Swedish manufacturer Bergboms, hence the name G-10.
