Hooray, the 'Poulsen' lamp is now also available as a wall lamp for outdoors!
For once, the outdoor version is not made of opalized glass, but of stainless steel.
Already in the years 1925/26 Poul Henningsen designed the 3-part lamp shade and the first models, which were created with the help of Louis Poulsen, were shown at an exhibition in Paris. This collaboration lasted until P. Henningsen's death in 1967. Throughout his life, Poul Henningsen was concerned with creating lamps with glare-free light that cast soft shadows and directed the light cone to the right spot.
The lamp was designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system that directs most of the light downwards.
The shades are painted matt white on the inside, which gives a diffuse and comfortable light distribution.
Great lamps for your outside facade. And your home appears in new splendour!
