The luminaire series 'Les Acrobates de Gras' looks like tightrope walkers hanging from the ceiling and almost dancing on it.
With the pendant luminaires in this collection, 'DCW' breaks new ground, completely without the articulated mechanisms characteristic of grass luminaires, but still easily fitting into the usual aesthetics.
Number 324 of 'Acrobates de Gras' consists of two lampshades attached to four textile cables. It is entirely up to you whether you hang the two lamps at an even distance from the ceiling, or deliberately unevenly.
By the way, you can combine 'Les Acrobates de Gras' so that you can build your very own model. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help you. Just click on the speech bubble below.
The cult Gras luminaire was created in 1921 by Bernard Albin Gras for industry and their offices. Nowadays, the 'Gras' is not only found in architects' offices and cool bars, but also in living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms. The lights of the 'Les Acrobates de Gras' series still bring a lot of industrial charm to your home. But they already feel much more playful and homely than the first grass designs.
