Mini Munkegaard ceiling light from Louis Poulsen

It was Arne Jacobsen who designed the Munkegaard model for the Munkegårdsskolen school in Søborg in 1955. It was the first recessed luminaire to illuminate the ceilings of the rooms and compensate for lighting contrasts. It blended discreetly into the room, just as Arne Jacobsen had intended.
