I would never have thought that seasoning could give me so much pleasure.
I owe my newfound love for salting and sprinkling spices clearly to this treasure: the spice mill from 'Alessi'.
Designed by Ettore Sottsass, it sits enthroned as a colorful sculpture on the table or shelf. But the spice mill can also look more than just poetic: Thanks to the solid beech wood, the colorful stacked elements lie well and grippy in the hand. For that certain 'Je-ne-sais-quoi', I like to combine the large with the small spice mill from 'Alessi', - so the two almost look like a small mill family.
Now it's colorful: The mill is with me namely in three different color combinations!
