Børge Mogensen, one of the most famous furniture designers from the Golden Age of Danish design, had only been working at FDB Møbler for a few years when he designed the first children's furniture. His idea was that children, just like adults, enjoy being surrounded by beautifully designed, high-quality furniture. Quite remarkable and groundbreaking when you consider that he put this idea into practice as early as 1946!
