The 'Panthella' reminds me of a jellyfish that emerges from the depths of the sea. A truly iconic figure distinguishes this design by Verner Panton.
In 1971 Panton designed the 'Panthella'. The organic shapes of this lamp are still very popular today.
Panton's aim was to create a luminaire in which the base and shade serve as a reflector. In this version you can choose your favourite from many great colours. You can also choose a high-gloss chrome-plated version.
The 'Panthella' radiates soft and diffuse room light. The hemispherical shade reflects the light downwards and the material ensures that most of the light is diffused into the room by the surface of the shade.
