Before using teak furniture for the first time, rinse thoroughly with a garden hose (do not use a high-pressure cleaner) and optionally apply a teak protector. The wood must be dry and dust-free before treatment and then left to dry for 24 hours. For regular maintenance, clean furniture with special teak cleaner or natural soap, remove spills immediately and do not use any cleaners containing acids or chemicals. Only wipe surfaces, do not scrub, and always work in the direction of the wood grain. Stubborn stains or scratches can be carefully removed with extra-fine sandpaper in the direction of the grain.
