Finn Juhl's compact 'Pelican Table' was almost forgotten, because the only known version was exhibited together with two Pelican chairs at the Copenhagen Joiner's Guild Exhibition in 1940. Since then it has never been produced again. It is a pity, because the 'Pelican Table' is the best example of Finn Juhl's intellectual affinity with modern art. He always chose certain artefacts to be shown together with his furniture at the exhibition.
No drawings of the table exist, - only a photograph from the exhibition. When the original table suddenly reappeared almost 75 years later at an auction in Paris, the exact measurements and dimensions could finally be determined.
After this adventurous journey, the 'Pelican Table' is now available for you in oak, walnut, Oregon pine or black lacquer.
