Almost magical: side table 'Sangaku'

Brand new you will find the label Driade with me. Here the boundaries between art and design often disappear and that really excites me.

Self-described 'Driade' as an aesthetic laboratory in constant search of beauty in the living space. The extensive Driade catalog includes works of art and objects for everyday use, souls that combine harmoniously. All this makes 'Driade' unique in the world of design.

The Sangaku side table plays a fun game with intersections, rotations and dimensional changes.

'Sangaku' are ornately painted wooden panels depicting geometric tasks or puzzles, which were hung in Shintō shrines and Buddhist temples in Japan during the Edo period by members of all social classes.

This gave rise to the idea of incorporating four different circles into an imaginary circle of 50 cm, creating a new element governed by invisible, yet perceptible geometric relationships.

The intersections between the different elements magically become the legs of this table, which is available in four absolutely extraordinary designs.
