The rattan armchair is the great classic of modern wicker furniture!
At the end of the 1940s, Egon Eiermann, co-founder of the 'Rat für Formgebung' and one of Germany's leading architects of the post-war years, made a decisive step in product design for modern wicker furniture.
With the 'E10', Eiermann succeeds in developing an armchair type with the necessary stability from the design possibilities of braiding alone. An innovative concept that later received a great response: in the legendary German pavilion designed by Eiermann und Ruf at the 1958 World Exposition in Brussels.
Just like the rattan stool 'E14', which you can also find here today, it is perfect as a small and easily transportable seat anywhere in the house, on the balcony or the terrace.
