Lounge Chair Hirche in fur or leather -12 %

Early Läck Friday 🖤

The reduced design by Herbert Hirche refers in particular to the Bauhaus tradition, where the architect and designer studied under Mies van der Rohe from 1930 to 1933. After this time he worked for Mies van der Rohe and later for Egon Eiermann.

The 'Lounge Chair' was already created in 1953 during his time as professor at the Academy of the Arts in Stuttgart, but never went beyond the prototype stage. In the year 2000 the manufacturer Richard Lampert raised the 'treasure' on the occasion of Professor Hirche's 90th birthday.

Since then, the armchair has been available with different fabric covers and also in a version with cowhide. You can find both variants here with me as of today.

The Lounge Chair provides a clean and graphic look in your living room. With its low seat height of 24cm it sits on it rather low, but nevertheless extremely comfortable.

It sits particularly comfortable here in combination with the stool, which you can also buy. By the way, it also makes a good additional seat or shelf.
