"habit" is the success story of Ulrich Lodholz, who founded a label for home furnishings, modular furniture, and interior design in 1971—with a keen sense for timeless design. From the very beginning, habit brought design classics to Germany and was, for example, the first in the country to showcase Richard Neutra’s furniture. The focus is on stripping things down to the essentials: the legendary M125 system and bed by Bauhaus master Hans Gugelot, Kandem Bauhaus lamps, Shaker furniture, and the popular woven bistro chair. The current collection is primarily manufactured in Germany and Italy and combines clean lines with authentic craftsmanship.
