Great value is placed on craftsmanship at the Czech company Ton.

Each product is the work of at least 20 pairs of hands. It is the hands of a team of craftsmen who have been giving new shapes and forms to steamed wood for six generations.

By the way, the beautiful chairs and tables are made in the oldest surviving factory of its kind in the world - built in 1861 by Michael Thonet and his sons.
