The Rampa from 1965 is a bookshelf, desk, storage space and mobile object all in one - inspired by the flower stands in Italian piazzas. Colombo saw something in these simple stands that most people would have overlooked. And turned them into one of his most charming all-rounders.
On one side: four steps as a bookshelf, covered with glass panels and a hidden compartment behind a flap door in the lowest step. On the other side: two open compartments, six drawers and a large flap that folds out to become a desk in the blink of an eye. Behind it are two more compartments. Surprises included.
And because Colombo always thought of practicality: four castors, two of which have brakes. The Rampa stays where you put it or moves with you.
Italian piazza meets modern living. This makes storage space fun.
