The Swiss label Manufakt is one of my absolute favorites. For over 30 years, all the furniture, including its typical cast feet, has been made here using traditional craftsmanship. Welded, bent, sanded, lacquered, powder-coated and cast. Small differences are therefore unavoidable and bring a lot of charm to the garden furniture.
Of course, I also have the matching tables from 'Manufakt' to go with the round tubular chairs with the colored PVC slats. And they also come in many great RAL colors.
All sheet metal panels are produced 100% by hand in a process lasting several hours, followed by galvanizing, priming and finally powder coating. Three layers protect the panel for many years. All frames are hot-dip galvanized at 480 degrees and after a while they show the grey discoloration that is typical of this process.
I really like the amount of work that goes into every single one of these garden tables. It somehow makes dinner with your loved ones taste that little bit better and makes you appreciate your time together that little bit more.
