Studio chair Marchand

My very favourite office chair!

With the equally innovative and unique 3D forming of Pagwood, the traditional company Embru once again demonstrates Swiss pioneering spirit.

Pagwood, plywood pressed with melamine resin, is characterized by its unique combination of practicality and design.

Already in the sixties the material proved its worth in the legendary Züritram and was rediscovered by the designer Christophe Marchand for the studio chair. The chair was designed for the 100th anniversary of 'Embru' and is extremely comfortable thanks to its rounded edges and clever angles.

By the way, I can assure you of this without winking and crossing my fingers in good conscience, as I am lucky enough to sit in the fine Marchand chair in the Mooris studio every working day. My absolute favourite chair, which is so wonderfully agile due to its castors that I can fly from desk to desk and then back to the frame and back again when I am busy.
