The luminaire gets its characteristic bend from a spring steel covered in colored textile. The seemingly effortless orange rope dances around a metal rod about 1.40 meters high and ends in a striking shade with an elegant, almost futuristic aesthetic. The moving character of the luminaire is based on the constantly swinging construction. In the asymmetrical silhouette with clear lines and dynamically interlocking curves, the cable appears to wind around the shade. An optical illusion makes it appear as if the parasol is held in position solely by the wrapping of the rope. There is an LED light on the underside of the shade, which emits a soft, warm white downward light thanks to the built-in diffuser. The luminaire offers another highlight: at the end of the "tail", the "Ms. Bowjangles" can be dimmed continuously by touch.
