Gira' combines the basic components of a lamp. The shapes lend the light a very special aura.
Nevertheless, the luminaire appears discreet and versatile: the arm can be turned and the shade positioned to create local light points for working, reading or writing, be it on the bedside table, sideboard or worktop.
The Gira lamp shows the simplicity and recognisable profile of a design classic and gives an overview of the history of design in Barcelona. Gira' was designed in 1978 by Ferrer, Massana and Tremoleda. The international recognition was not long in coming and the beautiful 'Gira' was presented with awards all over the world.
