Statement: Pendant light 'PH Artichoke 150 Years Anniversary Edition'

You have probably already come across this wonderful lamp in its original color. It is the iconic 'Artichoke' by Poul Henningsen. The son of the famous Danish actress Agnes Henningsen made a name for himself with his unique lighting design.

The sculptural design and extraordinary light have given the pendant luminaire its status as an international design icon. Each of the 72 leaves is carefully assembled by hand in the perfect position so that the light is glare-free and the light source cannot be seen from any angle.

The anniversary edition is painted matt white on the outside and has a pale pink shade on the inside in homage to the original design by Poul Henningsen, which was made of copper and had a pale pink shade on the inside. This creates a soft, warm light - while the metalized brass frame gives the luminaire a very elegant allure.

Unique in every respect: each of the lights has its own carefully engraved identification number.
