The Enigma luminaire was created in 2003 by the Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama. He presented a concept with thin wire suspended glider segments that give a light floating impression. This reinterpretation fitted well into the product philosophy of 'Louis Poulsen', whom the lamp combined Japanese grace with Scandinavian minimalism.
The pendant luminaire emits glare-free, soft and comfortably downward directed light, has a beautiful volume, but still looks wonderfully light and permeable.
Perfect for the dining area, the hallway or even the study. Clear design that knows how to show itself and shines through its restraint.
For the 60th anniversary of Louis Poulsen's icons, the 'Enigma' was dipped into an elegant black dress, which I present to you today.
