Design icon: pendant lamp Ninotchka

The 'Ninotchka' is a true and easily identifiable design icon, designed by Bent Karlby in 1954.

In designing this lamp, Bent Karlby had been inspired by a striking hat worn by Swedish Hollywood star Greta Garbo in her 1939 film Ninotchka. With its asymmetrical draperies, the organic design provides a functional and direct downward light as well as a diffuse upward ambient light.

The beautiful lamp is available in three colors: black, white or a dark red.
