When the creative studio of 'FDB Møbler' was founded in 1942, it was an act of rebellion against the status quo. The goal was to design beautiful, functional furniture not only for the rich, but also for the common man.
The designs rebelled against the heavy, uncomfortable furniture of the time by paying tribute to and giving space to everyday life - with all that life has to offer.
Quite different from what we are used to from 'FDB Møbler' comes the just released chair M20: The 'Schnur Chair', designed by the Danish duo Salto & Sigsgaard.
The 'M20' looks incredibly light and there's a good reason for that: the steel frame is wrapped in a cord, which forms the seat and backrest. It's a really great place to sit, because the cords catch your body as soon as you sit down.
The cord is available in four different colors. Create your dining room chairs tone in tone, or give each family member its own color.
