Wire Chair DKR-2 from Vitra

A formal variation of the famous 'Eames Plastic Chair' is this wiry fellow I present to you today.

With the 'Wire Chair' made of welded steel wire, Charles and Ray Eames varied the theme of the organically shaped, one-piece seat shell with an expression of light transparency and technical finesse.

Here comes the chair with the 'DKR' base: the legendary 'Eiffel Tower base' combines transparency and functionality.

A special gimmick is the graphic seat and back cushion, which adds a shapely warmth to the chair's archaic expression. Because of its characteristic shape, the cushion is called 'Bikini'. In this version, it comes with a fabric cover. And in the color of your choice.

An iconic chair with unique personality from the house of Vitra, which can equally show itself in plural at the dining table or as a soloist in the bedroom or hallway.
