The versatile and narrow ceiling lamp P376 from '&Tradition' captivates me with its futuristic form.
Indeed, it has its purpose: because designers Jørgen Kastholm and Preben Juhl Fabricius were driven by a shared mission to make form a pure derivative of function. That pendant light is a perfect example of the subtle architectural direction of Kastholm and Fabricius' design.
Designed in 1963, it consists of five concentric shades that gradually curve at the center of the fixture to emit a soft, diffused light. The discreet placement of the shades and the satin aluminum finish then culminate in a cohesive expression that is both iconic and captivating - for example, as a cool-looking fixture above your dining table or as a timeless ceiling light in the room of your choice.
You'll find them in two different sizes and finishes.
