Conscious Chair by Børge Mogensen

The so-called 'Conscious Chair' was designed in 1958 by the famous Danish furniture designer and architect Børge Mogensen. Hard to believe how old this thoroughly timeless design is!

The chair is made of FSC wood and recycled materials obtained thanks to an innovative technology. It allows the label Mater to recycle fibrous waste materials with upcycled plastic waste, the first time a design by Børge Mogensen has been reissued in a different material than the original. The good Mr. Mogensen would have been amazed!

The chair is available in three versions, each with a different composition. The two 'Coffee' versions are actually made largely of coffee husks.

Bring this classic home in a sustainable guise. Especially as a dining chair, I can strongly recommend the 'Conscious Chair'.
