Butterfly Chair in saddle leather

At the beginning the saddle leather used for this 'Butterfly Chair' is really bright. But with time it darkens very much. But I find this all the more beautiful, because my 'Butterfly' tells my very personal story over the years.

Makes a wonderful eye-catcher next to the sofa, or as a comfortable reading and dancing armchair next to my stack of favourite books.

The 'Butterfly Chair', also known as the 'Hardoy' or Bat Chair, was designed in 1939 by the architects Ferrari-Hardoy, Kurchan and Bonet. With its structure of four intertwined oversized hairpins, it is still a much sought-after armchair whose design invites you to sit in a versatile, casual manner. I really like the robust covers in combination with the fine metal frame. And that my head is also well supported when I really shuffle into the armchair, I find that quite pleasant.
