Originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the outdoor area of a private home, the 'Aluminium Chair' from 1958 has become one of the most important furniture classics.

Its iconic shape is due to the ingenious construction principle, whereby a fabric panel stretches between the two elegant side rails and gently cushions the body. In terms of its dimensions and seat geometry, it is the ideal chair for use at a table, - whether a dining table or an office table.

The EA 101 model is the most simple chair in the series. It comes without an armrest and does not swivel.
