The stacking bed by Rolf Heide has been an integral part of design history since its creation in 1966. It is ideal as a flexible sleeping option in children's rooms, student apartments or guest rooms. Whenever an extra bed is needed, the daybed can be moved into position in just a few simple steps. Thanks to its well thought-out design, it is particularly space-saving, as several units can be stacked on top of each other without any problems.
The lounger consists of four wooden elements, connecting parts, an optional roll-up base and a mattress. It is easy to dismantle and can be quickly reassembled if required. Characteristic of the design are the gently rounded side sections, which give the lounger its unmistakable appearance - an example of Rolf Heide's design principle of combining simple materials in a logical and effective way.
In combination with the modular cabinet and box system from Müller Small Living, a functional, adaptable furnishing concept is created for rooms with limited space.
The matching cold foam mattress has a medium firmness level and offers ergonomically balanced support for the spine thanks to its seven lying zones. It adapts perfectly to the shape of the body and ensures a pleasant sleeping environment thanks to the open-pored structure of the foam. The reversible mattress is 14 cm high and can be used with both the Comfort stacking bed and the Classic model in combination with a roll-away base. It is made of HR4040 cold foam.
