Stablight S pendant light from Artemide

The Stablight are made using the traditional Bohemian hand-blowing technique. The molds are also made by hand from hard and moist wood. The glass masters use a glass blowing pipe as a basic instrument, collect several layers of glass in different colors, blow them into the mouth and shape them with hand tools to obtain a form that closely resembles the shape of the mold. In the final stage, the glass masters place the pre-formed hot glass into the mold and shape the piece into the final form dictated by the exact shape of the mold.after the "hotshop" production phase, the vases are finished in the cutting workshop, where additional parts are cut out and the surface is polished to a mirror finish. this production process relies on the exceptional skills of the glass masters, who pass on their experience from generation to generation.
