I was really flabbergasted when I saw the 'Dutchtub' for the first time. But who's surprised: In our latitudes, outdoor baths are not a general cultural asset as they are in some northern countries. There, people like to meet in the outdoor pool. Here they bathe, drink and laugh with friends and neighbors.
The reduced-looking 'Dutchtub' is an outdoor bath with an external wood heater in the form of a stainless steel spiral and impresses with its functionality. The well-insulated bath can accommodate at least four adults. The water is brought to temperature only with the help of a fire in the stainless steel spiral (principle of a heat exchanger). Without pump, without electricity.
In about 2-3 hours, with a little pyromaniac skill, you can reach the 37 °C bathing temperature. Besides, you can use the waste heat of the wood fire also excellently for cooking and grilling.
With the extremely generous diameter of 175 cm and the filling capacity of considerable 750 liters, this well-insulated (double-shell) outdoor bath made of polyester offers unimagined bathing fun in the most remote places. With 75 kilos empty weight it remains transportable. In this respect, nothing would stand in the way of a bath in the middle of the mountain or deep in the forest.
It's great fun for the whole family. And whether friends and neighbors come in or stay outside is entirely up to you.
