The name of this secretary can be understood in two ways: Either as 'flatmate', which is actually the correct German translation. Or taken somewhat literally as 'flat comrade'.
The furniture from the 'Müller Möbelwerkstätten' is certainly such a companion. With its compact dimensions, it is the solution for mobile users. Thanks to its shallow depth and simple, inconspicuous appearance, it can transform long old hallways into a home office, provide an intimate place for writing letters in the bedroom or serve as a temporary workplace in the weekend house. Flatmate' makes sense of rooms that are unsuitable for conventional furniture. And even if the work lasts until late at night, 'Flatmate' offers a solution: workplace lighting and a power socket are already integrated.
The flexible interior offers plenty of storage space for analogue and digital writing instruments. This turns 'Flatmate' into a stationary ergonomic workstation with integrated power supply; the mobile phone can be charged inconspicuously when the work surface is closed. Behind the side flaps there is room for two 8 cm wide files, a 17" laptop and accessories and other items.
