60s Icon: Velvet Sofa Strips

At the end of the 1960s, architect Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with her model that is now an evergreen: the Strips sofa with its distinctive divisions.

At first glance, 'Strips' looks appealing and comfortable. And it is. Thanks to its good depth and fluffy velvet fabric, 'Strips' is a real lounge sofa.

The upholstery is an essential part of the cover, which is mounted on a wooden frame made of moulded polyurethane with differentiated density to ensure the best seating comfort.

Meanwhile, the sofa is part of the history of 'Arflex' and became one of the most famous designs of the Italian sofa brand. The 1968 design was awarded the Compasso d'Oro prize.

You can find 'Strips' in different lengths in my shop. Add the matching pouf to this comfortable piece of flat furniture and create your own personal living room lounge.
