The 'Slow Chair' is one of my great loves from Vitra. Hardly any other armchair convinces me as much with its relaxed cosiness in contemporary design as this piece of seating furniture.
For the 'Slow Chair' the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec use a form-knitted, extremely resilient textile, which is pulled over the construction like a stocking. The knitted fabric gives the furniture a pleasantly soft and ergonomically correct seating comfort, which is further enhanced by thin seat and back cushions. The slightly transparent cover material replaces the thick cushions of traditional armchairs and gives the cantilevered 'Slow Chair' a great lightness.
In the living room or conservatory, the 'Slow Chair' is pleasantly understated without having to sacrifice a high level of comfort. I also find the generous seating area especially great, which allows me to really lie down and also makes it possible to cuddle up with my son.
Available in five beautiful colours and with the base of your choice. For even more comfort I recommend the matching ottoman, perfect as a tray, as an additional seat or to put your feet up comfortably.
