Desk Student Desk

This simple but great table was designed in 1955 for the Royal Danish Academy of Arts. Hence the name 'Student Desk'. For this was precisely the purpose of the table, to serve as a working document for the students.

The table belongs to a furniture series with a light and elegant expression. Characteristic of the work of furniture designer and architect Poul Kjærholm. The 'Student Desk' consists of a filigree, powder-coated steel structure, which is complemented by a veneered table top. A combination of materials that later became a characteristic of the designer.

There is also the option of adding a single drawer to the table on the long side. Depending on what you want to use this great table for.

This piece of furniture is in my studio as work furniture.
